This December I heard I had finally got my degree (BSc) after many years studying with the Open University.
It has been a rollercoaster ride, the ups of achieving some personal best assignment scores and the lows the worst. At the moment I only have 30 more points to achieve an honours degree. I started this last October with S396 Ecosystems. Unfortunately at Christmas my Mum passed away and with time out for arranging funerals etc and time off from work, I got behind and with reflection decided that although the course was really interesting, the emphasis on statistics and analysis was too much for me. My first love is Geology and technology. So I withdrew but have registered to do SXG390 Geohazards starting next February. I shall also be studying
Volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis
as a bit of revision. I’m really looking forward to it.
